Synopsis of Hockeyland : In Minnesota’s unforgiving North Country, hockey is life. Over the span of a season, two rival senior high school programs—one an emergent dynasty, one other steeped in a proud legacy—strive for the coveted state championship. With the hopes of the towns in it, boys on both sides deal with the pressures of adolescence combined with the added burden of bringing glory to 1 of this country’s most hockey-crazed communities.
